The background is a gelli print created by mixing vintage photo and peacock feather distress inks with white acrylic paint. Multiple prints were made on this then sponged lightly around the edges. Subtle stenciling was added to the background. The ornaments were cut from aluminum and inlaid on Sookwang type. Glitter ritz was burnished into the open spaces. SU silver cord was added to the ornaments and a Swarovski crystal was added to the tie. Join the fun with Loll at Loll's tag challenge. Thanks for looking.

Wow, wow, wow Nancy.....Absolutely Stunning Gelli plate and stenciled background for your amazingly creative and beautiful die cut ornaments. I can just imagine how even more beautiful your tag is IRL. Your tag would look gorgeous hanging from a Christmas tree as an ornament. TFS my friend.

Nancy, you use such interesting materials and supplies! I always end up looking something up after reading your descriptions! This tag is really lovely. Love those aluminum ornaments against the swirly blues and I love that little bead with spacers on the cord.

LOVE this gorgeous tag ... your gelli plate backgrounds are ALWAYS amazing. This is such a beautiful combination of colours and design ... icy blue is perfect with the shine and sparkle from the silver and white die-cuts. Great design ... and love that sweet crystal at the top. Thanks for sharing your tag at my Twelve Tags of Christmas! xx

Gorgeous, Nancy. I didn't realize you could mix the acrylic and the distress inks in making the gelli prints. Peacock feathers is one of my favorite colors of distress inks, too. Love it! TFS

How great that you have posted such a gorgeous tag!! Love the stenciling and sponging to bring your gelli prints alive - then the die cut silver foil ornaments with the inlaid glittered look - this looks positively awesome and probably would blow me away IRL!!
