This is for Yvette’s Tough as Nails HYCCT Challenge to use construction related material. At the store, I picked out things to use in constructing my card. With painters tape, I masked the top part of my card, and stippled Cajun Craze ink with a brush and stamped on some Island Indigo speckles. I repeated the tape with more Cajun Craze stippled at the bottom along with two Indigo Island strips and one Soft Suede strip sponged in between. The black strip is not ink, not cardstock, its sandpaper! I’m hoping this gets me the brownie points with Yvette for thinking outside the box. I heat embossed “You made my day” as the sentiment. I thought this saying goes along with the construction or building theme. Another chance for brownie points! I added a metal charm because metal is used in construction. That should clinch the brownie points! Lastly, I wrapped twine around the open area. If all of that doesn’t get me brownie points, maybe this will – my last name is Carpenter. How about it, Yvette – do I get the brownie points? More importantly, the card drive gets another card. Thanks for the fun challenge, Yvette and thank YOU for looking. I hope you had a chance to have fun with this challenge and all the others in HYCCT.

Oh Diane! Brownie points from me at the least! I really like the colour palette you used for this card. Would work for both a guy and a gal. The metal charm is, how to say it?, charming! Come on over the brownies are in the oven just waiting for you. :-)
