HYCCT1516: Brenda is our hostess and she wants us to create a card with either the image of a hug or the word hug.
WT555: Sabtrina is our hostess and she wants us to use brushwork of some sort on our card today.
For my card I tried for the first time the salt technique. I used my aqua painter to brush the ink on glossy cardstock. I used coastal cabana, bashful blue and night of navy reinkers.
I didn't know where I was going with these colors but when it was done I thought it looked like water and sky. So I created a little water scene.
My sailboat is a Memory Box die and my plane is from Impression Obsession. I stamped my Verve sentiment on the banner and my card is finished.

Oh, how beautiful!! I usually have an idea in mind before I start making a background. I love that you made your salted background and then went where it took you, and how appropriate that it took you to the sea. This message s so lovely.
