This is my card for Mary's HYCCT challenge -- Thank Pink. We were to make a thank-you card using pink on our card. It was also made for the Ways to Use It challenge -- Brush It Up. I'm not much into watercoloring, but I try to go outside my comfort zone every once in a while. The background was created by brushing on shimmery watercolor paints.

Lovely card..I really like the swirly thank you on this. And HYCCT has been getting us all out of our comfort zone..at least a few times this month . As Martha Stewart would say "it's a good thing".

The watercolor bg for your beautiful butterfly is awesome, and VERY out of your zone. Congrats for doing a super job!

So sweet, Lois! I love the background you made for your butterfly! And that swirly sentiment is fab!

What a lovely CAS thank-you, Lois. I too wouldn't normally feel I was much of a brush person - it would have been so much easier (for me) to use a stamp set like Work of Art instead of actually brushing watercolour on. But I'm sure it was good for both of us to be stretched!!
