This is my card for Andi's HYCCT challenge, which was actually to get the kids involved. The kids were to make a card using something that their moms love. No kids at my house, so I used something that MY mom loved. She died last year at age 94 and was a 25+ years breast cancer survivor. When she was younger, she worked as a floral designer; so I used some flowers on my card. I used this week's sketch challenge for my layout.

This is lovely, Lois. Thanks for sharing some things about your Mom. I love that you were inspired to use flowers based on her job as a floral designer. Really nice.

Beautiful and I like the way you cut so that the petals of the yellow flower could still be there. Neat idea!!
