This is in memory of my mom who loved to sew. Of course she made lots of clothes for us growing up and she really enjoyed it. She got a certain satisfaction out of getting a pattern to fit on some fabric that was perhaps less than what was called for..it was like a puzzle. Anyway...thinking of my mom...

Your Mom sounds like mine, Polly. I always had the prettiest formals...I'd give her a picture(usually a Modess ad, if you remember those) and she'd make the dress. Love your card of buttons to honor your Mom...gives me warm feelings too. Thanks.
