We made this ADORABLE gift idea in a class taught by my upline's (Erin Stevens & Julie Salva) tonight. They use half of one of our simply scrappin kits and are so cute!!!
Ok, I have been asked for directions, so here ya go:
Take half of the ss kit. Cut two of the papers (whichever 2 you want to be the outside and insode of the booklet) in half making four 6 by 12 sheets. Put that to the side. Take another piece of solid cardstock into two 4 by 4 pieces. Put those to the side. Grab 8 SU envelopes (we used whisper white). Be sure and keep all papers associated with the kit to make the *pocket slides* as I call them. Ok, now here we go. Take the four 6 by 12 pieces and score them at 5 1/4 and 5 3/4. Now take the two patterned pieces and lay them together larger square onto larger square and adhere them to each other. Do the same for the solid sheets and lay that onto the patterned pieces. Now take the envelopes and flip the lip of one of the envelopes and lay it lip down on the table-DO NOT LICK THIS ENVELOPE! Now take the other envelopes and mono the edge (where you would normally lick) and *mount* it onto the envelope that you laid down. Do this for 6 envelopes. When you get to the last envelope tuck the flap into the envelope and then turn it address side facing you and mono it to the preceeding envelope. When you are done, mono the bottoms of all of the envelopes together so that they stick tightly to each other. Now take some pieces of cardstock and cut eight pieces to 5 1/2 by 4 1/4. You can round the edges with the corner rounder if you like at this point. Now take a circle punch and punch a notch out of the first envelope (do it like a half circle). Now you are free to decorate as you like. As for the outside, take ribbon and use velcro to adhere it to the inside of the booklet. Do the same on the other side so that the pieces of velcro match up. I really hope this makes sense...I am not great at giving directions and I am doing it from memory. :(

Oh, I have been trying to figure this out. Thanks for sharing the directions. I have seen these, but I was trying to use a scrapping kit.
