For Color Challenge 554, MIX143, and HYCCT1503.
Although butterflies are certainly not thought of as strong or fierce, the process of turning caterpillar to butterfly definitely shows strength, and ferocity in fighting for life.
I created a watercolor background, then stamped my sentiment in black. The butterfly was watercolored using today's challenge colors (close in my Koi paints!) and then cut out using a Thinlits die. I then sprayed it with Gold Glimmermist (my new love - even though it has been sitting on my shelf for like four years). I stamped the fern in Crumb Cake after misting the paper once the background had dried.
Thanks for taking a peek!

I love everything about this inspirational card, Judi. That swoosh of color on the background, the multicolored butterfly, and the gold glimmermist. Even though glimmermist never shows on a photograph! I love that stuff and have it in many colors. Thank you for remembering the Warrior challenge.
