For HYCCT1518, Emily challenged us to be inspired by searching Google for images of famous paintings, and choosing one for inspiration. Instead of choosing a single painting, I chose to use the amazingly soft light effects painted by Monet.
My image is cut from a piece of designer letterhead geared toward desktop publishing. I thought that it was perfect for this challenge, and decided to create a card that mimics a framed masterpiece.
I cut the mat and frame with the help of os SB Matting Basics A and B dies and layered them onto the image. The sentiment was stamped with London Fog ink, although it looks on the teal side because of the paper - nice surprise! The focal is mounted on a matching piece of craft foam for dimension and attached to the card with Sookwang tape.
As always, thanks for looking!
