This is for Jeanne's lovey HYCCT challenge - Pretty Tatoo.
Using my MISTI, I stamped the image and kept the stamp in place in the MISTI while i removed the stamped image and coloured her with Distress Ink.
Put coloured image back into MISTI and restamp - this second stamping gives the image lots of depth. Leave in the MISTI and mask dress in order to position the 'tatoo' and add sentiment.
White pencil and a smidge of pink distress ink used on her cheeks, lips and arms. A kaisercraft background stamp was added her and there.
Liquid pearls applied after adhering kraft panel to card base. The sunnies were coloured in using a black marker.
Thank you for looking.

Wow, what a chic! Those sunnies are totally cool mate! I would have been scared to use black anywhere near her face! I like the white pencil too and those "pearls" you put on her neck are perfect!
I like that Kaiser Craft bg stamp! That is way cool!
Oh yeah, one more thing, the sentiment is brilliant! Love it mate!

What a fantastic card, Susie, This took a lot of thought in how you would do this design step-by-step. When one looks at it, all these steps are not evident(IMO), but the results could probably not be obtained any other way. Stunning in the simple neutral color palette that you chose,

This is such a dramatic card! What a story lurks behind the image! Thank you so much for outlining your process. The result is truly stunning! I think this card won't last a minute in the basket at whichever hospital it is sent to.
