My card fits this week's Mix-Ability challenge - check the Mix-Ability Challenge Forum for all the details! I had this idea a few days ago, and this challenge was the perfect opportunity to work it out. I masked the letters with die cut Frog Tape, and then started with the background, which was probably not the best idea, but "you can be perfect or you can make art", right? The background is PanPastel with stamped Memento Luxe images in white (apply PP, stamp, sponge PP again to highlight the stamping). I sketched the feet over the top of all that, and used an eraser to remove color and add highlights. Some shading was done with PanPastel and a Prismacolor pencil.

Dini, this is lovely! I had to look up Frog Tape. Did you cut the letters from frog tape? Was it hard to peel from the page? I think all the work you've done has created a beautiful effect and you should be very pleased with the results!

What a unique concept to take your study bible and create mixed media art!!! It is truly cool, and shows what regard you have for your bible, I love it!
When I was growing up, our bibles could perhaps have an underlined verse and a few notes, but that was it. I think we have changed and now can express ourselves and our growing relationship with our Savior in a different way. I've never considered this. I think I'd have to try it out a few times, and I'm not sure the paper in my bible would be thick enough to not bleed through...
Walk Worthy, what a great message!!! I am constantly reminded of how I fall short, and yet we know we need to keep our eyes affixed on our Savior, and not let defeating thoughts bring us down. What an encouragement, thank you, Dina!!!
Blessings, and this too needs to be in my favorites--thank you for challenging and encouraging my heart all in one go!!!
