Very cute. I love her dressed up stockings and the dp you used on the left with the crosswords and cherries. I started out with this many books and now DH keeps saying I need to get rid of some. He doesn't understand they are old friends.

I see you've Beautifully captured a moment in the life of a true Book Lover!!! She looks very serious...and Adorable. The glasses are such a neat touch! I see she has taken time to have a healthy snack to help her work her way through that huge stack of books. Love it!!!

Oh, this is a girl after my heart with all those books. She must be working hard on her deportment and posture too! Beautiful card, Anne. Her long stripy stockings remind me of a knitted doll a neighbour gave me when I was a child.

Holy Smokes! Is this not the most perfect image!?? I just love her! Books are a large part of my household's discretionary expenditure. They get reread and lent a lot. I love the balance that 'ribbon' gives your card and the fantastic DP along the edge. ...but mostly I love the image. Those books...those glorious books!
