This is a close-up version of the card I just uploaded, so that you can see the detail on the leaves.
I'm editing this to add to my very first challenge ever, it took some time for me to get the info, so I went ahead and posted the card--now I have the information for the Twisted Sisters Challenge of a fall leaves card, TSC1002. I hope I've done this correctly. Hoping to do a lot more in challenges, I know I will learn and grow and will appreciate getting to know more of the SCS members this way too.
Because I have used different types of paint and finishes, it was a challenge to photograph. I am in awe of the amazing photography I see here on SCS, and am working to learn as I continue to take photos of my cards. Clearly I still have much to learn, but I hope you can see more clearly the details and finishes I have used in my first fall leaves.
I absolutely LOVE the colors of fall leaves, and have wanted to make a card using these for awhile. It took a couple of tries to make these, and I have since made some more, and hope to make several cards to get caught up on some thank you notes I want to send ASAP.
Thank you for stopping in to take a look at my card. It makes my day when you leave a comment!!! It is my goal to learn and continue to improve, and I am so grateful for all I learn as I see all of your amazing cards here on SCS. I'm also so thankful for all of the kind and supportive people I have met here on SCS--what a wonderful place this is to learn and share ideas for card-making!!!
Have a very blessed day!

I struggle with photographing my cards as well, but you did a great job here! And your leaves are just beautiful. It's a little bit of the best of fall that people can hold in their hands :-)

Joanne this is so beautiful. I love that our seasons are reversed, I get to enjoy the best of both worlds.....seeing beautiful Autumn cards like this whilst it is Springtime here.

This is a gorgeous creation and you can really see the wonderful details in the leaves and the background embossing. The colours are perfect and the added glitter and inka rubs are the icing on the cake. Love it.

Joanne, I can't imagine the time it must have taken to color and finish all these gorgeous leaves. They're exquisite. I've just come to realize some stampers are more talented than others when it comes to photography. I think you've done a great job highlighting your paints and finishes.

Hi Joanne,
Thanks for your kind comments on my card. The scripture from Luke is both a challenge and a blessing!
The scribbled flower die is from the Scribbles and Splats set by Sizzix/Tim Holtz. It's available at Hobby Lobby. Love using it and enjoy creating flowers of different sizes of flowers by snipping off the outer rings of the design.
Blessings,
Christine
