I just plain couldn't resist. I'm hoping that there will be a Star Trek lover at MD Anderson who'll get a kick out of this Spock card for Lee's HYCCT Challenge. I'm a word gal so I had fun with Lee's challenge to find four words hidden in PINKALICIOUS and use them on our cards. I sat and made a huge long list and there in the middle of my list showed up "Spock". I found this free coloring page image and printed it on matte photo paper. I used a blush blossom marker and a wet brush to color his "skin" I also added some sparkle highlights in his hair, eyes and "lips" My cutting platform had some blue ink on it that got picked up when I was embossing the edges of my image circle so I took the blender pen to add more "ink" around Spock. I had these fun "clips" and threw them on. I was trying to come up with a sentiment....he's making the sign for live long and prosper and I was going to add something like...you know what he wants you to do, but wasn't sure about that. Instead, I added some "links" with jump rings and connected the charms. I popped this over a "pink" stenciled flower image.
Are you playing along with us? If not, you're missing out on the chance to lift the spirits of women battling breast cancer at MD Anderson, and also on prizes from your favorite crafty companies. So what are you waiting for? Go stamp something pretty!

Gail, this is awesome! I actually had a Spock card made that I then proceeded to spill water on and had to trash, but yours is far cooler! (I'm still going to remake mine, but you totally win!) Love and favoriting!!!

Gail, this really is the coolest! Who knew there was SPOCK in Pinkalicous! You are so creative with your links and locks. Terrific card. Everyone is going to remember this one!!!
