This is an awesome challenge for today's HYCCT challenge. I was inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe's landscapes, and this one in particular caught my eye. The bold swaths of color for each layer in the landscape just seemed so elegant and perfect for translating to a paper-crafted card.
I started by stamping the cactus scene with my MISTI tool about 5 times to get a good solid black silhouette. I let it dry overnight and then I sponged yellow and rust inks onto the background. The lower layers of the landscape were cut from colored cardstock and shaped with scissors.

This looks so great! I'm a desert dweller and I think this looks very realistic. You did a fabulous job with the sponging and cutting out the hills. Thanks for supporting HYCCT with your amazing card.
