It is mounted on an old gessoed map background, matted with black. White base scored, MFT Faux Crochet border cut from DP and sponged with Antique Linen

Using a gessoed map as a base was a great idea, it adds such a subtle patterning behind the fabulous flower. You have so many techniques up your sleeve, Sabrina. Inspiring!

I actually thought about using this same technique but then remembered it required glitter and that stopped me....I just love the effect you achieved......beautifully done.....someday i will have to share my story with the last time I used this technique.....it was a glittering mess....lol

I tried this technique once (once!) with my granddaughter Sam, and hers came out beautifully, mine was yucky! Yours is gorgeous with the sparkle and RED! Good for you! Mom loved your card for Fall!! Thanks again!
