Thanks for taking a peek at the LOVE we will be sharing with my parents (our kid’s grandparents). I made two of these cards; one for my folks and one for my in-laws for their respective wedding anniversaries. No stamping, just DP, die-cutting and sewing. The background papers are K&Company and the “LOVE” is part of Stitched DP collection from Amy Tangerine. I cut the heart from SSS Sketched Heart in coordinating cardstock. The heart is inlaid for added interest. The best part of this card might be the inside which contains a parent’s poem I found on Pinterest. The message pairs up beautifully with the outside of the card. I just LOVE it!!! Enjoy your day!
We canÂ’t repay the lessons
That you have taught us all,
Or give you, gift for gift,
The daily treasures we recall;
We canÂ’t return encouragement
Or loving words of praise
In quite the way you did for us
Through all of our early days.
But thereÂ’s one gift that we can give:
It’s all the love you’ve earned—
For love is what you always taught,
And love is what we learned.

What a really beautiful card with dps and stitching. Your heart is so perfect with the dp colors. Wow, you must really love your in-laws. What you wrote is so wonderful. I bet they all cried when they read this. Beautiful work on these cards, Lisa. I can see why you love them.
