For a special 3x3 swap a little while back! The circle "pull" for the insert was inspired by Cindy Lyles (aka starlitstudio)!
The pocket card itself is created in the typical fashion out of Garden Green; I added a small Celery insert so that "inside" of the pocket appears to be a contrasting color. I used the CM cutting system to cut the patterned paper to fit the outside of the pocket; faux stitched with Ruby Red marker. Markered "helllo" (without inking the "h") with Celery; punched out. Markered "h" with Garden Green, stamped, punched out. Layered the circles to create the sentiment.
The insert was cut slightly smaller than the pocket to accomodate the "pull." I used the daisy punch on Cameo, then cut the daisy's petals to match the patterned paper. Layered on stamped circle with a brad; attached it to the very edge of the insert. Slid the insert into the pocket and marked where to punch the pocket with the half circle so that the pull has an opening to rest in. (The picture shows a complete pocket card with insert inside on the left and just the insert on the right so that you can see both parts.)
This card is on its way to some special people to say thanks for some RAK swaps... thank you to myprecious and jbalcer!

I recently purchased some of that patterned paper because I really liked it and figured eventually inspiration would hit me with an idea. I love these cards!!! Thank you for the inspiration!
