This card is for the Hope You Can Cling To card drive.
Kathleen wanted everyone to make a card with a food image. Well, I like to catch and eat fresh fish. Especially trout and redfish. Not sure what type of fish this stamp is though.
For the background I inked a block with blues, misted with water and placed the watercolor paper over it.
The fish is stamped in black and colored with smokey slate. I used a Spica pen for the glitter on top and painted brilliance ink on his belly.
Love this challenge because right now my husband is out fishing with friends. Unfortunately we have red tide going on which is killing a lot of fish.
Thanks for looking and be sure to play along!

Nothing fishy about it - this is fantastic and clever! I like your take on the food challenge. The blue background is amazing. The coloring on the fish is so realistic. I like the "bubbles". Nicely done! Best fishes to the fishermen out casting their lines - Hope they get a catch of the day. Thanks for supporting HYCCT with your fish food card.
This background is stunning, love it. I also like the added baubles you've added, they look like real bubbles in your underwater scene. Great card. Thanks so much for playing along with my HYCCT challenge.

What a great idea for the food challenge! This is my favorite stamp set - I've used it a number of times this year. Luv what you did with it. I think this is a Sea Bass.

I really like the way you did the weeds. It looks like you stamped it twice in two different colours. It makes them look like they are moving in the water. Along with your dew drops you have a perfect underwater scene. Lovely card!
