I just can't resist shells - and beaches and tropical islands - I won't keep on going - you get the idea.
We have just been through a very cold winter (for Australia that is) and Spring is now here. Time to head to the beaches for the summer.
I have a very large jar of shells - like this one - only much bigger. I have collected them from all over the world. The last lot I bought back from a visit to the Bahamas - and thankfully they got through Customs - but with a warning of "No More". Well - I guess my jar is now nearly full anyway - but there is always another trip and I can always find another jar. Only these will be Australian Shells by the looks of it.
In real life this card is more in aqua tones - but my computer doesn't like aqua and always changes it to a deeper shade of blue - and there is no arguing with computers - unless you want a fight.
Anyway I hope you enjoy my beach inspired card.

Absolutely FABULOUS design! I love your background technique. Your layout and images are delightfully perfect for your inspiration piece! Did you use masking to put the shells in the jar?! AWESOME idea! Very impressive creative design, and inspiration GENIOUS for sure!

I too have a jar of shells collected before the borders got so serious! Mine are from Florida and the Caribbean. We don't have much in the way of shells in Ontario. I love that image! Your colouring is so evocative of summer. I miss it already!
