For Ky's MIX141 Just Drop It challenge.
I'd been thinking that I wanted to try the shaving foam technique again, so this was a perfect opportunity. But...evidently shaving foam has a shelf life and mine was past it. It oozed out and didn't really foam up, so instead of getting two takes from it, I only got one. And then I dropped my ink pad on the quarter sheet that was successful, so instead of making 4 tags I was down to two, and then down to only one. So much for getting ahead with Christmas tags today!!
Also, for the first time ever I got really bright vivid colours...so bright that I had to use a vellum overlay to tone it down!
Stamped on the vellum tag, coloured on the back with pencils and gel pens, and used an eyelet to hold the two tags together.

Very cute Sabrina. I agree with Robin and Lisa, that leftover piece is beautiful. I love the vibrant colours on it, but I suppose it might not show up the stamping too well. I'm sure you will find some use for it though. It's too pretty to discard.

I can't believe how bright the colors came out! Wow! The vellum tag overlay is perfect with those so cute images! What gorgeous leftovers, too!

You poor thing! I think next time you are out you should get some more shave foam because the part that came out is beautiful! In fact, I think I need to try this technique as I have been wanting too for some time as well!
Your tag is so sweet and I love the way it came out!

My luck runs that way, too. The tag turned out beautifully, though, and I'll bet you can make some more. Yeah. Go on and try it again! Thanks for playing my challenge!

I'd say that I think your shaving cream tag turned out famously!!! the swirls love just right and how fun to see them come out brightly, especially since it is a Christmas tag!! love how you softened it with the vellum overlay too!
