I got this handmade paper at a local store that went out of business a couple of years ago. They had the most amazing papers!! I felt bad for them as they had been a local landmark for many years. So I've been saving some of their really special papers.....for this challenge perhaps?

Polly this card is so beautiful. Oh I know what you mean about special papers and holding on to them for just the right card. I made my own paper last weekend and now I am waiting for just the right card to use it as it is extremely beautiful paper. I am hoping I can recreate more paper...some day. Fantastic job with Ann's challenge on this stunning card.

This paper is beautiful, and I bet in real life it feels rich. I love to feel thick rich paper or delicate too! So sad when a great specialty store closes it's doors. It still nice to see and touch our purchases. The added gold gives it a nice touch. Tfs

Polly, your dp is gorgeous, and The fact it is handmade makes it even more special. I hate to hear this specialty store closed. We have many that closed in our area as well. Again, gorgeous card.
