Sandy Allnock has a video on her blog http://sandyallnock.com/yupo-roundup.../#.VhUn9PlViko using Yupo a synthetic paper, by coincidence I recently purchased a 5X7 pad at Dick Blick but had no idea how I was going to use it. After watching Sandy's video I thought I'd give the alcohol technique a try. OMG this is so easy and so much fun. You just dot the alcohol ink over the yupo paper and it just moves around and merges with the next colour. the almost whit spot is silver. I'm entering this for

This is gorgeous, Christine and I'm off to see the video! Love the white poinsettia on this and yet you allowed that gorgeous paper to just shine! Outstanding card!

Fabulous, Christine! Love the rich colours and wonderful pattern you got with the alcohol inks. It works perfectly with the simple die cut and the white poinsettia.

LOVE the look of the alcohol inks on the Yupo paper! Gorgeous colours and design with this very cool background Christine. Love that you've just added white embellishments and die-cuts so that the gorgeous technique is the star of the card. Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.
Wow! I shall definitely be having a nose at Yupo paper! Amazing effects and I love how you have framed it using the white poinsettia and sentiment. Very striking card! Thanks for joining us at 52CCT, April x
