My very first Teapot Tuesday Challenge card, sadly it is a sympathy card for Cindy (Mothermark) and Pat (foxy67). I am so sorry for your loss. I know the loss of a spouse and of a brother, and the devastating sorrow that it brings.
Lord, Extend your arms and hold me in my sorrow, and shine your radiant light on the future of a brighter day. Amen
I was inspired by the colors of the MMTPT375 teapot and cased my own recent card for this challenge. I love the technique and beauty of the Vintage Leaves.

Lovely card. It's really pretty amazing that we all create different style sympathy cards. Yours is reminiscent of the outdoors .. a place where Cindy's husband loved to be. Your card is lovely.

This is so lovely! The leaves are such gorgeous colors and I love the touches of gold. They look wonderful against the embossed background!

Welcome to Teapot Tuesday .... so sorry it's such a sad occasion for us. Your card is just so lovely. The touches of gold are perfect against those beautiful blues and greens.

LOVE these leaves, love the embossed gold--perfect with all of the golden colors of the fall. I just made my first leaves ever on a simple birthday card, but am having "technical difficulties" loading the photos from my camera, my laptop almost imploded when I tried last night, so I'll get someone with a whole lot more expertise to help, hmmm... I'm having fun with the leaves and hope to do a lot more experimenting on a number of cards. Wouldn't it be great to actually get caught up on some thank you cards that need to go out!!! After leaving my list of favorites, I later saw your reply and had to check out your card, so glad I did!
GORGEOUS card, it really touched me and drew me in. Your prayer absolutely touched my heart!!! What a heartfelt prayer for your friend and SCS colleague. I don't know these two ladies, but my heart aches for their loss, and I will be praying for them. Such grief takes time, and personally I've found the only way for me is to lean on my Savior, He will take the burden when we cannot...
Love, love, LOVE those leaves!!! And the way you've shadowed them--absolute genius!!! WOW!!!
