Really easy way to watercolor: Stamp image with VM and emboss with white....then color away. The embossing forms "fences" so it helps contain the color.

Unbelievably gorgeous--this art masterpiece absolutely took my breath away, and I just HAD to stop what I was doing (uploading a card) and take a look and leave this comment. I am blown away by the artistry, this should be framed!!! WONDERFUL water-coloring, I cannot wait to try this technique for myself!!! Not that I could create something like this, but it will be a good starting point for water-coloring, something I really haven't done to any extent at all. What an inspiration! Beautiful colors!!! Anyone would be thrilled to receive this, yet don't be surprised if the next time you go to visit this person that your card has been put in a frame and it's on their wall.
This HAD to go into my favorites, I want to be able to look at this for inspiration again and again. Perhaps I'll be casing this once I have this PTI set. I'm more than over-due for putting in a PTI order anyway!!! They are one of my favorite stamping companies for sure.
Thanks so much for inspiring me, and for quite literally taking my breath away--I'm wildly impressed, and thank you for this beautiful view to start my day.

I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to poinsettias, preferring the red ones. This gorgeous image wins me over wholeheartedly however, to ...the pink side! The embossed white lines lends it a wonderful delicacy. Your water colouring is fabulous as usual. The gold line bordering your panel frames it beautifully. I love it!

This is MAGNIFICENT, Sallie!! I am blown away how you used this watercoloring technique to its maximum potential!! Love the shading and of course, the "framing" with the gold leaf pen, and the subtle shading in the background!!
Have fun today!!! Enjoy!

Gorgeous! I echo all the wonderful comments. The coloring is amazing. I always emboss in black, but this shows me the awesome effect of white embossing. This is truly a masterpiece. Love it! Into my favs. TFS

Love your card and the white embossing for the flower - I've done that technique but my watercolouring never turns out like yours. You have such a knack of combining colours and getting the shading just right! I need to practice more!
