This is for Teresa's challenge to make a freestyle collage card.
The collage tag was cut from a background I made while spending time last summer with Nancy (stiz2003). Did we ever have messy fun playing with the stencil monoprinting technique. I added a background stamp and some random postmarks, and actually cut a vellum swirl that I sprayed with sparkly pink spray ink. You can barely see a bit of it on the lower right corner, because, I didn't like it and decided to cut a tag to get rid of it, lol.The paper we used was pretty white and I wanted to tone it down. I couldn't use my usual method of sponging Antique Linen over it; it would smear the stamping. So I used a pale SN marker over the lighter areas, It worked beautifully without disturbing the Distress stamping. Yay!
I cut a smaller vellum tag and stamped the butterfly and the sentiment with VersaMark and embossed with Ranger Princess Gold ep. So sad they no longer make this; it's such a pretty gold. I threaded the tags together and attached them to the base layer of the card. I used a new ef by a company I had never heard of - CGull. I kind of hated to cover it up; it's very pretty! I added a few rolled up glue dots beneath the embroidery floss to hold it in place.
As always, thanks for looking!

Beautiful! The vellum tag over the bigger tag is fabulous! Love the touches of gold, as well! Fantastic HYCCT card!
