This is my card for Lori's Split The Difference challenge. After going back and reading the challenge again, I don't think this is exactly what she had in mind, but it's done, so here it is.
I stamped the corner images with Memento and colored them using Spectrum Noir markers. I left the stamp on the MISTI, so that when everything was totally dry I could overstamp the image with VersaFine Onyx Black and heat emboss with clear ep. This is a good way to get around the problems you run into when you use alcohol markers on an embossed image. The MISTI also helped me align the sentiment properly, which was also stamped in VersaFine and heat embossed.
The layer was die cut with a stitched rectangle die and attached directly to the card base. That's about as close as I can come to a one-layer card!
As always, thanks for looking!
