The warrior challenge almost stumped me as I don't have any military or fighting stamps. I thought of using a wolf, but someone else already had. Then I thought about something to do with having a lot of heart, but someone else did that too. I know I could have used them in my own way, but I kept trying to think of something unique.
I found this lion, the symbol of strength in the jungle. Colored him with Copics took very little effort. And I found the sentiment in a 2005 SU set. I think it represents how important it is to have a friend ready to stand by you in the battle. I drew a tiny pink ribbon just so there would be some pink.

Nice! The lion is a warrior and he's colored so well. The background paper works great for this card. I remember that stamp and it's an excellent choice. I do like your creative take on this challenge. Thanks for sharing and participating in HYCCT card drive. Nicely done!

Val, I am so impressed by your desire to bring your own take to today's warrior challenge. I have the habit of not looking in the gallery until my card is finished so that I'm not influenced by the work of others. Sometimes I do create something similar to someone else but I know I didn't peek. I love the lion image to reflect warrior strength. Thanks for joining us to support breast cancer patients.

Wonderful card to show support for someone who is going through tough times. The lion is a perfect image to show courage as well as fierceness which are both needed to battle cancer.

You almost got yourself in trouble from viewing too many cards, Val. ; ) I'm glad you found something to stamp...he is definitely a strong beast. Beautiful bg and sentiment~
