This is for Lydia's fun "What ever the weather" HYCCT challenge.
I hate hail with a passion and I am not all that crazy about winter in general. It is spring here and we are expecting 30C/86F on Monday...woohoo and it gets even better - daylight saving starts this weekend.
Everything here is coloured with distress inks - ground expresso is a gorgeous rich dark brown, I blended a little bit of it with fired brick distress ink and it made a nice dark red for one of the scarves. The green is Forest Green.
The hail was made by using a stencil and a white Prismacolour pencil. The white pencil was also used on the girls.
MISTI hint: You may already do this...once you have stamped the image, leave the stamp in place on the MISTI lid. Colour image and before cutting, put your work back into the MISTI and restamp image. It crisps up the details beautifully.
I will be away on and off during October, so I am trying to make extra cards when I can. Thank you for looking.

Susie.....Wonderful card!!! And as wonderful as it is, I think the sentiment has taken the spotlight and made each of us blessed with seeing your creation pause and take a moment to look within ourselves. Thank you for that. Will miss you while you're gone.

I am with you on the winter thing and also for daylight savings - woo hoo. 30c here on Monday/Tuesday too. I will spend some time amongst the tulips on Monday at Floriade - enjoying the brilliant colours and the lovely warm weather. Guess what I have ordered my Misti - its on its way. Your hints are great. I do love these little windblown images and the nice sentiment too.

Love these! Wonderful stenciling - I want that stencil and a white pencil just like yours (oh and a misti too - you are such an enabler for me)!!! Love the image and the sentiment - a really special feel to these babies. I will miss you dearly while you are around less - you are such a doll and I enjoy looking at your creations so much. Many hugz - extra ones since you won't be around as much in Oct.

Wow, I didn't think about hail, but I really dislike it too. A couple of years ago a hailstorm dented my car! Great job on the hail card! Beautiful coloring and beautiful sentiment.
