I need to write some thank you notes to folks who brought meals to us and others who gave contributions/memorials in honor of my mom. I sat at my dad's and wrote about 50 of them, but I hadn't sent my own yet. This was easy to do and I made 5 of them right off the bat. I cut the dp which has the ferns in two of the corners. I nabbed a whole pack of the same sheets of dp at Big Lots once. I sponged the edges of the paper in Suede and then adhered to River Rock. I laid the card down in my MISTI and figured out the placement of the sentiments. Had to do these each time as the ferns didn't wind up in exactly the same places each time. I then took my Gelly Roll pen to add details to the ferns.

I'm sure your kind friends appreciated you sending them one of your handmade cards.....knowing it took time to create plus the message you included. The large fern image is a lovely image and looks wonderfully against the faint text bg. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Gail I'm not sure how you are able to create and write at a time of loss. I just shut down. So bless you to be able to thank those who supported you during your time of loss. This card is beautiful.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. This card is so beautifully done as a wonderful thank you. I love the added detail on the DP ferns to add the white, that is a fantastic touch. Thank you for making such a darling card for my challenge to use greenery.
