I stamped the Linen background with white craft ink. After drying, I used sandpaper to distress it, followed with sponging along the sides. It doesn't show up too well, but the lavender ribbon is threaded horizontally across the top underneath the white grosgrain.

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!! I have one of these masterpieces!! The scan does not show the amazing pearly luster from the heated pearls technique. The sanding gives such a cool texture to the cardstock, and the way you have used the ribbon is genius! Fabulous creation, my dear SL friend!!!
I too am fortunate enough to have one of these masterpieces!! This card is abosolutely gorgeous...I can't wait to try the heated pearls technique. Trudee is right about that RIBBON absolute genius!! :) Thanks Cindy for another great work of art.
