HYCCT1510 - This is for Barbara's challenge, "Tag, You're It! Sometimes when you have a needle biopsy, they leave a tiny metal tag, so the site will show up in future mammograms. So the challenge is to make a card with a tag on it."
I have to admit, creating tags is a bit of a challenge for me but I remembered a Mixability challenge a few weeks back to use a book and so I decided to grab that same book and use that as my starting for this challenge. The tag was die cut out of a book. I distressed the edged of the tag and mounted on a tan craft color. The floral DP was a wonderful piece from my friend Julia (Crafty Julia). I distressed the edges. I tore a piece of the pink paper from an old scrap and added it to the tag adding distress ink and the button. Finally the lace at the bottom was fraying. The top piece of lace in the tag was at the top of the lace on the card but very turn. I tore it off and thought it looked perfect strung through the tag and it fixed the lace so it was still usable on the card. The butterfly was a perfect addition to mirror the lace. This turned out so beautiful IRL.
