And, after a couple of weeks when it hasn't been possible to combine challenges, this worked well for me to combine with Maryann's challenge to the CCEE Stampers to make a step block card. It was the first time I'd tried one of these, and I'm sure I'll be making another.
I used , and decorated mine as a Christmas card. I used embossed squares of green to cover each block, sanding after embossing.

Love the Christmasy florals and foliage for the little blocks. Although this was more challenging for me than most, I did enjoy learning how to do this,
