I FINALLY got my Newton's Nook Stamps today! I am not a halloween person as a rule, but really wanted to participate in the Newton's Nook Challenge. I own zero Halloween stamps so checked out the Newton's Nook Freebies and lucked out that they have a perfect Trick or Treat image I could use. I used Copic markers, and die cut Newton out, but only wanted his head so fussy cut his body away and popped him up on the side of the pumpkin. I used a Lil Inker's double stitched rectangle with a thin layer of charcoal layer behind. I popped that all up on the base, added the baker's twine and voila, DONE! Now I can go to bed happy

WELCOME to the TPT, Tracy! So glad to have you and how exciting that your first party was this week as I am the guest host. Thank you for participating! ADORABLE image, love how you pieced him to be peeking out around the side of the pumpkin. Terrific coloring and nice design, too. Hope to see you in the TPT gallery again.

I do love those stamps, such a cute kitty. I love the way you coloured him, is that what you call a calico cat? It's what we would call a tortoiseshell.

Tracy this is so cute -- I love that little kitty peeking around the pumpkin, your coloring is perfect too!

Yes he is a known here as either a calico or tortoiseshell. I picked the coloring because I knew I wanted an orangish cat, but not one that would conflict with the pumpkin My cat is a Classic Brown Tabby, and I've not yet mastered the art of that copic coloring yet! Thanks all for the responses!

This is so adorable! I love how you colored the kitty and cut it out so he's peeking around the halloween bucket! Such a fun idea! Thanks for linking up to our Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook Designs!
