Made this card:
1) For my cousin's upcoming birthday
2) To prove to myself that I really COULD lop off part of a circle die without the world as I know it ending (It was touch and go there for a little while...LOL!)
Stamped the image and sentiment on Copic X-Press Blending card and colored using Copic markers. Used the colorless blender to pull out some color for my clouds. Used some Pear Tart Memento to stamp some grass onto the bottom, adding more visual interest.
Cut out image with MFT die and then cut out ring from Chocolate Chip c/s using 2 MFT dies. Cut 3/4" strip of old SU DSP. Assembled card. Added some clear PPP sequins around the bottom of the circle. Used a black Spica pen to enhance the dog's eye (and make it just a wee bit sparkly).

This is adorable Debbie! Great job with colouring the cute little guy ... your shading is awesome on this small image!! And LOVE the partial cut circle design. This is perfect to enter in HLS September CAS Colouring challenge ... and CAS-ology this week is cue word: Circles. xx

So adorable - I love that little dachshund. I laughed when I read about the world not ending because you cut off the side of the circle :-) I have seen a few cards in blogland where they have done just that & I really love how it looks. Still not sure if I could do it though!

What a fun card with this happy pooch! I love the colored scene and the lopped off circle! (I even dared do that myself.) Thanks for sharing this with us at Happy Little Stampers!
