Just playing with the challenge and I was in a quirky mood and this is what I came up with. It is from an old history book that has water damage to the bottom quarter so I tore out a page and it had this picture. I colored it by sponging with Momento ink, stamped the circles, punched the stars, die cut the border and computer generated the sentiment. Fun! tfl

how funny! You know Susie Austraila got this idea from googling Sept 25th but I never thought about non Americans (especially Brittan who might still feel like they should have won the revolution!! heehee! Oh well, water under the bridge right?
This is super my friend! Great idea to use a page of a ruined book! Love it!! Thanks for playing today!

I love it when anyone uses an old book that won't work for anything else. You picked a great picture. You card is pretty cool. And I'm smiling because DH just surprised me with bubbles like this that always come back to guard if I leave my computer for more than 5 minutes.

LOVE how you have created this card using a page from an old, damaged history book! Love all the added stars and bubbles. Robin's comment left me chuckling, too.
