OK, so on first glance you might wonder what workplace item appears 9 times on this card. Remember I work as a beer taster, and crackers are very important for cleansing the palate in between samples. Occasionally the supply chain breaks down, and then some have to be scrounged from other parts of the building to keep us going - on occasion some of us have even had to go out and buy them. I only counted eight on the stamped image, so I stamped them again on a scrap of paper and coloured and cut out an extra cracker to make 9 in total.
The base was from my old background box - modelling paste stencilled and rubbed with various rub-ons and possibly something else. There were a few white patches, so I sprayed it a little with some Brusho Acrylic Mist in Sea Green and Shimmering Turquoise, and used the colours from my background panel to colour the image.
Base layer also has one edged embossed and rubbed with some more Luster Rub-ons, and the right edge is die-cut to match the edge of the image.
Lace border was also cut from a scrap from my box.

This little chick just makes me laugh. Plus, you solved one of my big questiond....I never knew what your job was. I want to be the guy in tge park whete I walk who heards the geese back into the pond so they don't poop all over the walking path, but beer tasting is a close second. Your card is terrific....the side panels really turned out well, and as always, your coloring is perfection.

This is so fun! Your story kept me intrigued, the image is perfect for a get well greeting, and all the spraying and embossing really makes an interesting visual card.

Brilliant Sabrina! I had no clue crackers were used as palate cleasing items. Learn something new everyday! What a fun card and I know you used to work as a cook too so this is double duty work place! Very cute!

Love the stamping, punching and embossing for your borders, but that chickie image from Penny Black, sure takes the cake - err, crackers - for being the star of your card!!
Is the reason you walk to and from walk due to the nature of your position, or is it because you live fairly close to where you work ? If I were a beer taster, I don't think I would be ABLE to drive!! LOL
