For today's WT challenge to use punctuation, I used an exclamation point after the die cut Happy Birthday.
Went with this weeks CC colors also, love them!!
First stamped and silver embossed the two trees and then did a wrinkle free distress bg with just the peacock feathers ink. Sponged in white ink around the trees and in the bg to have a snowy look. Added teal gel pen to pick up birds in the sky and a bit more dimension to the rolling hills. TFL!

Stunning! Of course I love this color! Your birthday and your trees are striking against the background. Just love it! I have peacock and forget to use it!

Wow! Anne that is one awesome background. The silver trees are perfect. Fav'd Love to case this card. You had asked about the classes. Here is a link to the site. They had one before on the basics of watercoloring that I also took. http://onlinecardclasses.com/watercolorEM/

Wow! This is the epitome of blustery! I love the background swirling around your stalwart trees. The font of the sentiment really holds its own against the storm. :-) Love it!
