Hi, everyone! Today's Technique Lover's Challenge is 'Floral Frenzy'...one last hurrah for flowers before autumn sets in! For my card, I have used the Stargazer Lily image from the 'Beauty' set, a sentiment from 'Flourished Verses', and one of the border dies from the ODBD Custom 'Leafy Edged Borders' Dies. I don't know if there are real lilies that are purple, but I was in the mood for Wisteria Wonder, so here they are! The ivory panel was first cut with the ODBD Leafy Edged Border die, then stenciled in green and purple. The lily was stamped twice and fussy cut, one of the lilies was popped up for dimension. I used watercoloring since I don't have fancy blending markers. I had originally stamped the sentiment on the ivory panel, but I must have been cross-eyed and stamped it crooked, even using my Stampamajig...ugh!! So, I did a cover-up with the ODBD Custom 'Ovals' and 'Stitched Ovals' Dies instead. The card is not balanced well, but the image was already glued down and I couldn't tolerate a visibly crooked sentiment!! Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

This is gorgeous, Angie! Who cares if there are really wisteria colored lilies? They are your lilies & therefore any color you desire. The bg & die cut border are just beautiful.

Your card is beautiful. The way you designed the dies and sentiment around the lilies is just wonderful. I had to smile at the crooked stamping. Looking at my last 2 cards, I know I need to get my Stampamagic out. I still have not learned to stamp the sentiment before I color and put everything together.
