This is for Paula's HYCCT challenge to use an uncolored line image. The news of cancer and the treatment for it can turn your world upside down and make things crazy. Fortunately, many men, women & even children get through it okay, especially with support of family and friends. Humor is something that helps. I thought this cute upside down turtle looked good in green with no coloring. The background was done with the Rolling Marbles technique. It's really fun! There is a tutorial here on SCS.
Basically, I put three marbles inside an old stamp set plastic case, put a few drops of ink in the case and rolled the marbles around to "ink" them up. Then I put the cardstock on the inside of the lid with temporary tape, close it up, flipped the case over and rolled the "inked up" marbles all over the cardstock. The result is a fun and interesting background. It's perfect for the humor and message of this card. A crimped piece tilted behind the image completes the look. This was fun to make. Thanks for looking. I hope you are enjoying the challenges.

So cute! I love how the background and textured panel complement the image!

So neat for the line drawing challenge. The image of the little turtle stuck on his back really is a great visual for our cancer challenges. Nicely done for Stacy.

Ha, ha! I love that little image and sentiment pair! Your rolling marbles background fits it perfectly and keeps the open look of the line stamps. Great colours and thanks for the information about the technique!
