This was done because, my insurance agent needed a sympathy card the other day, and I had gotten the email from ODBD with this sketch challenge seen here and I thought oh you can try that. ( it's not a perfect sketch because, I switched the circle layer to a square and used a ribbon for the long rectangle but, it's close) the lacy diecut did not have enough contrast using the same cardstock as the sentiment panel so I added the honeycomb to give it some subtle texture. the sentiment panel was inked on the Misti twice to give it that boldness and it is up on pop dots. There is a closer look at that on the blog here. tfl.

Stacy, your card is beautiful. I love the colors and every other thing you did to this creation. That's what I love about the Misti....re-stamping if you don't like the first stamp. They are awesome for those solid stamps, also.

Wow, this is gorgeous!! Love the use of the Lord's Prayer with the drama of the black and cream color scheme. Your additional details are the perfect complement as well- the beautiful flowers, gingham ribbon and the use of the die cuts! Thanks for playing along with the ODBD Shining the Light Challenge- hugs, my friend!

Oh, Stacy, this is gorgeous, and I love the dramatic black and cream! Stunning layout with the beautiful DP and great use of dies. And I always love gingham ribbon! But the best part is the Lord's Prayer. And, yes, our MISTI sure helps for getting a really nice image. I love it! Hugs!

Hi, Stacy, I saw this on the ODB blog and had to stop by to let you know how much I like this - so striking with the black and cream - and the Lord's Prayer is so good for a sympathy card.
