Julie-
After looking at all your photos I wanted to say that you have a wonderful space to stamp! It is well organized and you have given me some good ideas. Don't you just love IKEA for cute storage ideas? I could spend a fortune in there!
Nice room,
Wendi

Thanks, Wendi! The room only measures 8'x 13' so it was challenging to design. The counter top is actually the largest size pre-fab shelving, 2 pieces, cut to fit tightly to the wall, and setting on top of those little closetmaid 3 drawer units. It is bracketed to the wall to prevent movement, as well, but because they are not fastened in any way to the drawer units, I can actually shift their positions if need be! A clever idea my husband thought of.
We had to go this route, because traditional counter top would have been far too deep and taken too much footage in the room to enable one to walk down the middle.
I even drink my morning coffee in there and just soak up the ambiance. There's not much room to decorate, as I'm trying to utilize every bit of space, but, I'm hoping to give it a slightly "french" feel, with some decorative wire pieces that will hold office supplies, etc.
