Lydia challenged us to make a red white and blue or stars and stripes project. I stamped the stars and music with white ink and white heat embossed them. Then I did embossed resist. I used blue, red, green and black markers and water to add the color. (So although you can't readily see my "red" it is there, It mixed with the blue to make a purple color.) I sprayed the cardstock with gold shimmer spray. I cut one panel into 4 stripes. I put cheesecloth behind them because it made me think of the nets in the children's poem "Winkin' Blinkin' and Nod" I added blue sequins and glass beads on top of the sequins. I added pearls to make my easel card.

Love this even more than the closeup MariLynn! Love the blending of the red and blue too - all those colors are still "there". I love the look of both sky and sea. Gorgeous.
