This is my first foray into scrapping my entire family history (all 1100 years of it!) I did the research back in 2012 with the intention of scrapping it but got distracted (opening my own digi store!)
So, fast forward to now. It turns out scrapping so much written information is a real challenge! The biggest difficulty has been including all the necessary info while still creating what I hope is a cohesive, clear and visually interesting page.

Oh, Sallie! This is fabulous, and congratulations on your first upload to SCS! How fascinating actually, since my DH's mom was born in Norway. He was able (with the help of someone of a university in Norway) to trace his family history back about 500 years ago (not nearly as far back as you). I love the picture of your 31st great grandfather and the amazing story of his life. I know you will find lots of inspiration and encouragement here, and there are certainly lots of scrapbookers too. Hope to see more of your lovely work and learn more about your family tree! Hugs!
