This is what I came up with for Angie's Wrinkle Free Distress challenge. Backgrounds like this are always a surprise to me because you never really know how it is going to turn out. At first, mine looked like a swirly Easter egg - the colors were bright and there wasn't much pattern to it so I swiped it again (and again) and the colors blended and became more mottled. The end result looked more 'vintagey' to me so I went in that direction with the embellishments. The sentiment stamp is a new one I picked up by WPlus9. I colored the (silvery) ribbon with BV72 Copic and added a little pink to the flower using a Copic marker (R43). I crimped the ribbon edges using a heat tool (and actually ended up burning little holes in a couple spots) and added 2 little stick pins (cut off the sharp pointy ends so no one gets stuck).

Jacqueline,
Love this vintage look to this card, and that ribbon is so very pretty! Gotta try that!! Wow, isn't the wrinkle free distress technique fun to play with! Your bg is fabulous!
Oohhh! Love how your background turned out!!! That's definitely the trick, swishing the paper back through several times and drying in between! Love the vintage look you achieve. Yes, one of my favorite things about this technique is it's never the same twice! Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge!
