I thought today's color combo would make a cute ice cream card for a birthday card for one of my hubbyÂ’s sisters. I used mostly the turq & pink w/ just a bit of the blackberry in the ice cream. And I'm pretty sure I have at least 4 layers, lol.
After stamping, coloring & fussy cutting the ice cream image, I added it to a textured, stitched oval die cut then to a pink oval. The dp was die cut using the largest Lacey Square die & a resizing technique I came up with way back in 2008 before there were so many sizes of dies available. As long as the die is symmetrical, it works. I used it here to make the square die into a continuous rectangle. The lt pink layer was die cut w/ the largest of the Flourished Star Pattern dies & I used the Pennant dies to to cut the greeting flag. Stickles was added to the ice cream & spoon.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff
