This is for the technique challenge to make Front Fold-Up Cards. I modified the front folded piece to make it large enough to hold a 2 1/8" x 3 3/8" gift card.
Here are the modified measurements:
Dimensions for card:
Cardstock 4 ¼” x 11”. Fold in half.
Interior measurements for front – 4 1/8 x 5 3/8; 4 x 5 ¼
Dimensions for Fold–up:
Cardstock 3 1/2” x 10 1/2”
Score across short side at 2 3/4", 5 1/4", and 7 3/4"
I used double-sided designer paper so there is only one set of measurements for the fold-up piece. I did reinforce the folds and the hole punch areas with single-sided tape.
Assembly instructions:
1. Decorate front of card, using the top half of card
2. Decorate fold – up. Punch ¼” hole at top and bottom for ribbon
3. Attach ribbon through holes
4. Use sticky strip on each side (NOT top to bottom to allow ribbon to move) and attach to card front
5. Tie ribbon.
