This is the card I made using the slightly less vivid Brusho background, obtained by blotting my first one. So I used kraft instead of black for my border, and added some colour with pencils. Again I simply stamped a verse and added a gold star cut from a tomato paste tube. This time I matted it on black and used a kraft base. I did also stamp a little sand texture into the foreground of the border die.

Wow! So much creativity and clever ideas here. The gold star is amazing and it was cut from something that was repurposed, which makes it even better! Love that background. The color is just perfect for the neutrals. The silhouette die is fabulous. The speckles for the sand add just the right touch. The sentiment tops it off perfectly. Very nicely done. TFS
