Back-to-school pocket tag inserts to hold the notebook design tags I made for my 2 kids' teachers. Parents were asked to help the kids write an "About Me" page as a way for teachers to get to know your child better. I decided to take a step farther by turning the assignment into a fun craft project and enlisted my kids to help me write about themselves. So TAG! YOU'RE IT!
For each child, I printed out 4, 3x5 size notebook design mini pages, punched hole and secure with ribbon. Each four pages have the following header: Hello (about me), My Likes/Dislikes, Areas of focus for this year; and What to look forward to this year. My daughter then filled in each page by herself now that she's a 2nd Grader. My son who is a Kindergartener, I have him filled in the blank while I do most of the writing for him.
The tag then slide into a pocket insert which I decorated with a blackboard (cut from chalk paper, framed in white using Taylored Expressions' Frame-in-frame plate). Next I stamped and colored with Copic the C.C. Designs "Book Abigail" and "Brain" rubber stamps, cut them out and mount onto blackboard with foam tape.
I've post a tutorial of how to create these pocket insert and the 4 mini notebook pages tags over on my blog if you like to see more photos and create them. Thanks for looking!

Adorable! I'm sure it brightened the teacher's day to receive these cute notes. I like the ribbon pulls, the notebook paper look and the bright colors. Nicely done for the tag challenge and back to school. TFS
