I made this card for the, WT546, Make It Metal, challenge. I used dark brown cs, for the bg, panel. The next panel is a vanilla and copper striped dp. The corners, are die cut from dark brown cs. The flower strips, are punched with my Martha Stewart punch. I had two vintage pic's, that I had cut from a magazine a few years ago. (I finally got to use them. ) I glued them , into the copper frames. Now, my card is assembled. To complete my card, I added copper stickles to the centers of the flowers, and to the corner dies. I've had all these elements for a long time, they just finally all came together. I really had fun with this great challenge. Hope you like my card. Thanks for the fun challenge, and thanks for looking.

WOW Marg this is outstanding! You had the perfect frames and the perfect vintage photos to go in them. That bg paper with the copper stripes is wonderful, too and works great for this challenge!

Wow Marg what a brilliant take on the challenge. I love the vintage sepia colour tones and the fabulous old photographs with their very classic frames.

Your card looks like old miniature portraits, beautifully framed, hung on a wall of striped paper, Marg. Really lovely and charming. You are always so detailed in how you did your card which is interesting to read.

The copper frames are the most perfect way I can think of to show off those vintage images. I agree with Sallie, they look just like portraits hung on a wall.

Those vintage images are spectacular and the framing is exquisite. And the DP that you added is perfect for those vintage frames. Very beautifully done. Thank you for creating a card for the WTUI Make it Metal challenge.
